Job summary

Shift Digital is seeking a Technical Project Manager to bridge our clients and software delivery team. Based in Birmingham, MI, you’ll coordinate kickoff meetings, gather initial requirements, assist with testing, manage communications with vendors, and interface with the creative team to develop product mockups.

You must be self-motivated, detail‑oriented, and adept at multitasking in a fast‑paced environment; PMP is a plus, and MS Project/SQL skills are valued.

Qualifications

• Experience managing technical projects and stakeholder communications.
• Familiar with testing/QA as required.
• Strong written and verbal communication.
• Knowledge of digital marketing landscape.
• Must be on-site 4 days per week in Birmingham, MI.

Responsibilities

• Lead project kickoff meetings with clients and internal teams.
• Gather initial requirements for technical projects with internal account teams.
• Assist with testing and QA as required.
• Manage communications with vendors and partners.
• Attend client and account calls/meetings as required.
• Interface with creative team to develop product mockups.
• Document and distribute meeting minutes for all calls/meetings.
• Show solid understanding of the digital marketing and advertising landscape.
• Demonstrate excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Be self-motivated, able to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Display tech savviness and familiarity with project management tools.

We are looking to add a Technical Project Manager to our Software Delivery team. As a Technical Project Manager you will act as a liaison between our clients and our technology team. You will also be expected to have a working knowledge of our products. Typical roles and responsibilities include (but are not limited to) the following:

This is an on-site role in our Birmingham, MI office and will require the employee to be on site at minimum 4 days per week.
