Universal Avionics in Duluth, GA is seeking a Technical Project Manager to lead the roadmap and execution of next-gen avionics at the intersection of hardware, software, and AI.

You will guide a world-class team from proposal through certification and production, driving key technical decisions, managing scope, and ensuring regulatory compliance. This role offers a strong benefits package in a collaborative aerospace culture.

Qualifications

• B.S. in Engineering (Software, Electrical, Mechanical, or Systems) required.
• 5+ years design and development experience as an engineer (aviation preferred).
• 3+ years managing engineering projects (aviation preferred).
• Well-organized, self-motivated with strong leadership skills.
• Strong problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead cross-functional teams from proposal to production transition.
• Develop SOWs, project plans, and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Create schedules, allocate resources, control scope and budgets.
• Identify risks and provide status updates to leadership.
• Coordinate with Export Controls and Compliance for kickoff.
