Job summary

KBR is seeking a Technical Project Manager for its National Security Solutions team. This on-site role in Virginia involves leading technically complex programs that protect critical national security interests, coordinating cross-functional teams, and ensuring successful deployment and certification of mission-critical infrastructure.

Ideal candidates will hold an active TS/SCI with Polygraph, a related bachelor’s degree with 10+ years of PM experience, and a track record of managing schedules,

Qualifications

  • Active TS/SCI with Polygraph is required.
  • Bachelor’s degree in a related discipline with 10+ years in project management.
  • Min. 3 years of experience managing complex technical projects.
  • Experience planning and executing technical development efforts.
  • Experience managing schedules, milestones, and deliverables.
  • Knowledge of commercial technologies and technical capabilities.
  • Demonstrated problem-solving and analytical abilities.

Responsibilities

  • Manage technical projects from development through deployment.
  • Coordinate stakeholders, schedules, milestones, and deliverables.
  • Participate in technical design and development planning activities.
  • Gather and manage deployment requirements.
  • Facilitate certification, approval, and implementation activities.
  • Track project risks, issues, and dependencies.
  • Communicate project status to stakeholders and leadership.
  • Support execution of complex cyber-focused initiatives.

Qualifications

Required:

  • Active TS/SCI with Polygraph
  • Bachelor’s degree in a related discipline and 10 years of experience; additional experience may be substituted for a degree
  • Minimum of three years managing complex technical projects
  • Experience planning and executing technical development efforts
  • Experience managing schedules, milestones, and project deliverables
  • Knowledge of commercial technologies and technical capabilities
  • Demonstrated problem‑solving and analytical abilities

Desired:

  • PMP certification
  • Experience supporting cybersecurity initiatives
  • Experience supporting intelligence community customers
  • Experience with Agile development methodologies
  • Experience managing multidisciplinary teams
Basic Compensation

$164,800 to $201,500 (Virginia area only)

Additional Compensation

KBR may offer bonuses, commissions, or other forms of compensation to certain job titles or levels, per internal policy or contractual designation. Additional compensation may be in the form of sign‑on bonus, relocation benefits, short‑term incentives, long‑term incentives, or discretionary payments for exceptional performance.
