Job summary

Insight Global is seeking an experienced Senior Technical Project Manager for a 6-month contract to support a government-facing platform. You will drive initiatives from roadmap through sprint execution across engineering, DBA, QA, product and infrastructure teams, using Jira to track sprints and dashboards.

Leverage Microsoft 365 Copilot and GitHub Copilot to analyze project data, decisions, and risks while delivering timely stakeholder reports.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of Technical Project Management experience.
• Strong Agile/Scrum experience with engineering teams.
• PMP and/or Scrum/Agile certification strongly preferred.
• Strong Jira experience with sprint planning and tracking.
• Experience managing roadmaps through sprint-level execution.
• Hands-on Microsoft 365 Copilot and/or GitHub Copilot experience.
• Experience using AI for project analysis, reporting, risks, and status tracking.
• Strong cross-functional stakeholder communication.

Responsibilities

Job description

Contract Duration: 6-month contract, with possible extensions

Pay: $55-60/hour

Must-haves:

• 5+ years of Technical Project Management experience
• Strong Agile/Scrum experience with engineering teams
• PMP and/or Scrum/Agile certification strongly preferred
• Strong Jira experience with sprint planning and tracking
• Experience managing roadmaps through sprint-level execution
• Hands-on Microsoft 365 Copilot and/or GitHub Copilot experience
• Experience using AI for project analysis, reporting, risks, and status tracking

Day-to-Day:

This role will support our client’s proprietary platform supporting government agencies. The Senior Technical Project Manager will manage technical initiatives from roadmap through sprint execution, working across engineering, DBA, QA, product, and infrastructure teams. Responsibilities include managing Jira boards and sprints, leading Agile ceremonies, tracking project health and risks, and providing stakeholder reporting. The PM will also leverage Microsoft 365 Copilot and GitHub Copilot to analyze project information, track decisions and deliverables, identify risks, and streamline reporting. The ideal candidate can manage multiple initiatives independently and drive execution in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment.
