Job summary

Insight Global is seeking a Senior Technical Project Manager to support a government-facing platform, overseeing technical initiatives from roadmap to sprint execution across engineering, DBA, QA, product and infra teams.

You will manage Jira boards and sprints, lead Agile ceremonies, track project health and risks, and provide stakeholder reporting. Experience with Microsoft 365 Copilot and GitHub Copilot for analysis and decision tracking is a plus.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of Technical Project Management experience.
• Strong Agile/Scrum experience with engineering teams.
• PMP and/or Scrum/Agile certification strongly preferred.
• Hands-on Jira experience with sprint planning and tracking.

This role will support our client’s proprietary platform supporting government agencies. The Senior Technical Project Manager will manage technical initiatives from roadmap through sprint execution, working across engineering, DBA, QA, product, and infrastructure teams. Responsibilities include managing Jira boards and sprints, leading Agile ceremonies, tracking project health and risks, and providing stakeholder reporting. The PM will also leverage Microsoft 365 Copilot and GitHub Copilot to analyze project information, track decisions and deliverables, identify risks, and streamline reporting. The ideal candidate can manage multiple initiatives independently and drive execution in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment.

Skills and Requirements

• 5+ years of Technical Project Management experience
• Strong Agile/Scrum experience with engineering teams
• PMP and/or Scrum/Agile certification strongly preferred
• Strong Jira experience with sprint planning and tracking
• Experience managing roadmaps through sprint-level execution
• Hands-on Microsoft 365 Copilot and/or GitHub Copilot experience
• Experience using AI for project analysis, reporting, risks, and status tracking
• Strong cross-functional stakeholder communication
• Experience building AI agents or automated workflows
• AI/Jira integrations for automated reporting or analysis
• PPM Pro and/or SPM experience
