Job summary

Jonus Group seeks a Technical Project Manager to lead technology initiatives in the Property & Casualty insurance space. This onsite role is based in Sarasota, FL with potential consideration for Orlando.

You will manage projects end-to-end, coordinate between technical teams, business stakeholders, and external vendors, and drive delivery using Agile, Waterfall, Scrum, and Kanban methodologies. Strong communication and vendor management are essential.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage technology projects from planning and requirements gathering through implementation and delivery.
• Develop and maintain project plans, timelines, milestones, dependencies, risks, and deliverables.
• Collaborate with software development, infrastructure, business, operations, and third-party vendor teams to ensure project success.
• Act as the primary point of communication between technical teams, business stakeholders, vendors, and leadership.
• Facilitate project meetings, including status updates, sprint planning, retrospectives, and other ceremonies as needed.
• Identify and mitigate project risks, dependencies, and roadblocks, driving them toward resolution.
• Manage multiple priorities while maintaining visibility into project status, scope, timelines, and deliverables.
• Apply appropriate project management methodologies, including Agile, Waterfall, Scrum, and Kanban, based on project needs.
• Support implementations, integrations, upgrades, and other initiatives involving core insurance and third-party technology platforms.
• Ensure alignment of technology initiatives with business objectives and stakeholder expectations.

Job Summary

Seeking a highly skilled and experienced Technical Project Manager to lead and deliver technology initiatives within the Property & Casualty insurance sector. This role requires a professional who can effectively manage complex projects from inception to completion, ensuring alignment between technical teams, business stakeholders, and external vendors. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of project management methodologies and the Property & Casualty insurance industry, with the ability to bridge the gap between technical and business functions.

This is an onsite position based in Sarasota, FL, with the possibility of consideration for Orlando.

Compensation Package

• Base Salary: $105,000-$120,000 annually

Qualifications/Requirements

• Proven experience managing complex technology projects.
• Familiarity with the Property & Casualty insurance industry.
• Strong understanding of project delivery methodologies, including Agile, Waterfall, Scrum, and Kanban.
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively with technical teams, business stakeholders, and external vendors.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
• Ability to manage competing priorities, project risks, dependencies, and timelines while maintaining stakeholder alignment.
• Experience with insurance technology platforms or other enterprise systems.

Preferred Experience

• Hands-on experience with Guidewire is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with Duck Creek or other P& C policy, billing, claims, rating, or enterprise insurance platforms.
• Experience leading system implementations, integrations, migrations, or modernization initiatives within an insurance organization.
• Proven ability to work across both business and technology functions.
