Job Description
Arkatechture is seeking a Technical Project Manager / Scrum Master to support our growing R&D organization, which includes three critical teams: Infrastructure, Product Engineering (R&D), and Data Hub. This role reports into the Head of Implementations and partners closely with Engineering, Product, Implementation, and Data teams to align execution with strategic priorities. The successful candidate will collaborate with Product Owners and work with solution architects, system administrators, developers, and internal business stakeholders to plan and complete new product features and enhancements to existing product features using agile (scrum), incremental deliveries aligned with the product roadmap.
A successful applicant will be a critical thinker and problem solver, a leader with strong communication skills. This candidate will thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment and will be passionate about bringing structure, clarity, and momentum to technical teams. The TPM / Scrum Master will be responsible for tracking and driving delivery across new features, bug fixes, and infrastructure projects, ensuring accountability and transparency at all organizational levels.
Key Responsibilities
Agile Facilitation & Delivery
- Lead and facilitate Agile ceremonies (daily standups, sprint planning, reviews, retrospectives) across multiple cross-functional teams
- Champion Agile best practices and adapt them based on team and organizational needs
- Partner with Product Owners to ensure requirements are well understood, prioritized, and aligned with sprint capacity
- Support backlog management and prioritization; ensure Jira stories are clear, well-maintained, and ready for development
- Work with the scrum team to get estimations and create tasks in Jira
Stakeholder Communication
- Maintain visibility into progress, blockers, and capacity across teams
- Provide regular updates and risk mitigation plans to technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Develop dashboards or summaries for leadership highlighting timelines, risks, dependencies, and key metrics
Accountability & Execution
- Ensure solution architects, system administrators, and developers meet sprint commitments
- Track work scope, support teams in unblocking challenges, and manage expectations
- Balance velocity, technical debt, and timelines effectively
Resource & Capacity Planning
- Collaborate with leads to track team capacity and prioritize work
- Support sprint forecasting and release planning to meet schedules
Continuous Improvement
- Identify and address process gaps or inefficiencies
- Build playbooks and documentation in Confluence
- Support defect tracking, root cause analysis, and post-mortems for ongoing improvement
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
Qualifications
- 3-5+ years in a Technical Project Manager, Scrum Master, or Agile Delivery role in SaaS, Data, or DevOps environments
- Strong knowledge of Scrum, Kanban, and hybrid Agile models
- Experience with Jira, Confluence, Slack, Google Suite
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Experience working with Product Owners to support prioritization and planning
- Critical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Ability to multitask, organize, and prioritize conflicting tasks
- Proficient in estimating, work breakdown, and project planning tools
- Bachelor’s degree or relevant work experience
Preferred Qualifications
- Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or similar certification
- Familiarity with data platforms, ETL workflows, or cloud infrastructure (AWS preferred)
- Experience with resource and capacity planning tools
- Understanding of SDLC, DevOps practices, and integration environments
