Responsibilities

  • Monitor progress and escalate risks, issues, and tradeoffs to leadership as needed.
  • Coordinate communication among stakeholders to ensure alignment on objectives and deliverables.
  • Facilitate team meetings, reviews, and decisions to maintain momentum.
  • Assign activities and resources based on requirements and timelines.
  • Track performance against scope, schedule, and business objectives.
  • Support product launches and ensure deliverables meet timelines.

Work Flexibility: Onsite Technical Project Manager Portage, MI Join a cross-functional team responsible for leading the execution of new product development initiatives from concept through launch. In this role, you will coordinate project activities, drive alignment across technical and business stakeholders, and ensure projects progress according to scope, schedule, and performance expectations.

What You Will Do
  • Lead cross-functional new product development projects in partnership with the Technical Lead.
  • Define and manage project scope, timelines, milestones, risks, and resource plans throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Monitor project progress and escalated risks, issues, and tradeoffs to leadership as needed.
  • Coordinate communication among project stakeholders to ensure alignment on objectives, priorities, and deliverables.
  • Facilitate team meetings, project reviews, and decision-making activities to maintain project momentum.
  • Assign project activities and resources based on project requirements, priorities, and timelines.
  • Track project performance against established scope, schedule, and business objectives.
  • Support product launch activities and ensure project deliverables are completed according to agreed-upon requirements and timelines.
What You Will Need

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Science, Technology, or related field.
  • Minimum 4 years of experience in project management, product development, engineering, or related technical roles.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in New Product Development (NPD).
  • Experience using project management methodologies, tools, and processes.
  • Experience leading projects, programs, or cross-functional initiatives.
  • Experience working in medical devices, healthcare, manufacturing, or other regulated industries.
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or equivalent project management certification.
  • Master’s degree in engineering, Business, or a related field.

$89,300 - $148,800 USD Annual Travel Percentage: 10%

Work Flexibility

Remote – Role allows you to work the majority to 100% of time from an alternate workplace. These roles could have travel expectations, and you must work within the country of the job requisition location.

Field-based – You can expect to regularly work a majority to 100% of time at customer facilities and has a set territory or expectation to travel within a set boundary. Almost all sales roles would likely be qualified as field-based.

Onsite – Role is 100% located at a Stryker facility. Some ad hoc flexibility may be available depending on role, level, and job requirements. Manufacturing roles and any role that requires physical presence at the office would qualify under this category.

Hybrid – You can expect to regularly work in both an alternate workplace and a Stryker facility. Roles that are partially remote or co-located would qualify as hybrid, and the expectation to be onsite would be defined and agreed upon by your manager/supervisor.
