Job summary

Expert Technical Solutions is seeking a high-aptitude Project Manager of Technology Delivery to join our on-site IT team in Peachtree Corners, GA. You will own multiple software and IT projects from concept through release, partnering with developers, QA, and product management to drive on-time delivery and quality.

The Opportunity

We are looking for a high-aptitude, high-energy Project Manager of Technology Delivery to join our tight-knit IT team of 10. This is a brand-new role within our organization, created to streamline our delivery pipeline. Because we already have a robust, smooth process in place, we care much more about your aptitude, drive, and mental sharpness than decades of legacy experience.As the very first PM resource in the company, you will report directly to our CTO and work alongside 4 Developers, 1 QA Engineer, 1 Report Writer, a Product Manager, and an IT Manager. You will have a massive seat at the table, collaborating weekly with our President and presenting directly to senior leadership.

• Location: Peachtree Corners, GA 30092 (Fully Onsite, 5 days/week with flexible hours)
• Position Type: Permanent, Full-Time
• Compensation: $80,000 - $110,000 (Targeting $85,000 - $100,000 based on fit)

Core Responsibilities

• Drive Delivery: Manage multiple concurrent software and IT projects from initial concept through release, maintaining a strict eye on timeline and scope.
• Own the Quality Gate: Serve as the strategic filter for incoming requests. You must possess the "spine" to hold a quality gate with senior stakeholders and the judgment to separate a true emergency from a loud request.
• Facilitate Change Management: Seamlessly coordinate rollouts, software cutovers, and system adoptions, keeping the broader business informed and aligned without drama.
• Cross-Functional Communication: Author sharp, crystal-clear status reports, smoke-test feedback, and project documentation that can be easily consumed by engineers, executives, and our internal AI agents alike.
• Collaborate with AI: Work within a forward-thinking pipeline where approved specs are handed off to coding agents. You will actively operate around and optimize AI-assisted delivery systems.

What You Bring (Requirements)

• Experience: 3+ years of technical project management experience driving software delivery or IT projects (ERP, logistics, or operational enterprise software is a major plus).
• Tools: Absolute fluency with Jira and/or Azure DevOps (sprint planning, backlog grooming, and release management).
• Executive Presence: Exceptional confidence and articulation. You will be interacting directly with the President and C-suite weekly; you must communicate with clarity and professionalism.
• Communication Mastery: Native-level, flawless written and verbal English communication skills are mandatory for cross-functional alignment and executive reporting.
• AI Curiosity: A genuine passion for AI-native tools and an eager interest in utilizing AI to automate and scale project delivery.
• Education & Certifications: A Bachelor’s degree and a PMP certification are preferred and highly valued, though not strictly required for a candidate with exceptional aptitude.
