Job Summary:

JCS is looking for an experienced TPM to oversee and lead Information Technology (IT) projects in support of a US government client’s mission. In this role the ideal candidate will provide leadership and guidance to a team in ways that promote the client’s mission.The DPM is expected to provide high-quality project and program management standards across the whole project lifecycle. Advise clients on the project cost, program, risks and issues. Lead and manage multi-disciplinary professional teams.

What you will do:

• Plan, initiate, and manage information technology (IT) projects
• Lead and guide the work of technical staff.
• Serve as liaison between business and technical aspects of projects.
• Plan project stages and assess business implications for each stage.
• Monitor progress to ensure deadlines, standards, and cost targets are met
  
  

What you will bring:

• Bachelor’s Degree or 10+ years IT experience; Minimum of 5+ years of IT Project Management experience
• Current Project Management Professional (PMP)
• Certification in at least one of the following: CCNP; CCIE; MCITP/MCSE CISSP or equivalent
• Have a background in Information Technology/Service Management frameworks and methodologies (ITIL, CMM, ISO, and AGILE)
• Possess, or can attain a DHS Entry on Duty (EOD)
