Summary:

The Technical Project Manager will oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of technical projects within the organization, to the ultimate benefit of our clients. This role requires a blend of project management skills and technical knowledge to ensure projects are completed on time, within scope, and aligned with business objectives.

How our Technical Project Manager spends their time:

• Develop comprehensive project plans outlining scope, timelines, resources, and budget;
• Define project objectives, deliverables, and success criteria;
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams that are both technical and non-technical, including engineering, sales, product management, operations, and design;
• Communicate project status, risks, and issues to applicable clients, stakeholders, and senior management;
• Work closely with new clients to ensure a smooth transition to Verified First’s services;
• Allocate and manage resources effectively to ensure project milestones are met;
• Identify and resolve resource conflicts as they arise;
• Identify potential project risks and develop mitigation strategies;
• Monitor risk factors throughout the project lifecycle;
• Provide technical guidance and support to project teams;
• Ensure adherence to technical standards and best practices;
• Implement quality assurance processes to ensure project deliverables meet standards;
• Conduct project reviews and retrospectives for continuous improvement;
• Maintain project documentation, including status reports, meeting notes, and project artifacts;
• Prepare and present regular project updates to stakeholders;
• Monitor project budgets and ensure financial accountability;
• Prepare forecasts and reports on project financials;
• Other duties as assigned.

What you bring:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, or a related field; PMP or equivalent certification ;
• Proven success as a Project Manager in a technical environment;
• Strong understanding of project management methodologies (Agile, Scrum, Waterfall);
• Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills;
• Proficient in project management tools (e.g., Jira, Trello, Microsoft Project);
• Familiarity with software development processes and methodologies;
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and work under pressure.
