Job summary

Trace Systems Inc. is seeking a Technical Project Manager at Aberdeen Proving Grounds, MD to oversee IT project management activities and lead a team on large projects or substantial segments of complex programs.

The role requires a Secret clearance, a minimum of 12 years in design and development, 5+ years in management of military hardware and software, and DoD 8140-aligned certifications. Travel up to 10% may be required.

Qualifications

• Active, in-scope US Government issued Secret clearance (Interim Secret Clearance acceptable).
• US Citizenship is required due to contract requirements.
• Must meet 8140 requirements via approved certifications, education, or military training.
• Minimum of twelve (12) years of progressive experience in design and development.
• At least five (5) years of management and supervisory experience overseeing military hardware and software development projects.
• A minimum of five (5) years of experience in systems analysis.
• Required certification: Security+.
• Able to travel to support mission up to 10%.

• Qualifying 8140 certifications may include Security+, SecurityX/CASP+, or other DoD 8140-approved higher-level certifications aligned to the assigned work role.
• Minimum of twelve (12) years of progressive experience in design and development.

Education

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science/ Management, OR an Associate’s degree plus fifteen (15) years of recent specialized experience, OR twenty (20) years of recent specialized experience.
