Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, MIS or related field.
• 5+ years of technical project management experience in a tech environment.
• Strong understanding of SDLC, Agile, and technical infrastructure.
• PMP certification or equivalent; ability to manage multiple projects.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to convey technical concepts.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Job Summary:

Eccalon is seeking an experienced and driven Technical Project Manager (TPM) to join our dynamic team. As a TPM, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing multiple high-impact technical Projects within our organization. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the successful delivery of complex projects from initiation to completion. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, excellent project management skills, and a proven ability to navigate complex technical landscapes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of large-scale technical programs from inception to completion.
• Work closely with engineering, product management, and stakeholders to define project goals, scope, schedules, and deliverables.
• Identify risks, develop mitigation strategies, and _escalate_ issues that impact project timelines, resources, or scope.
• Manage project resources, including personnel, budget, and equipment; ensure alignment with project priorities.
• Maintain clear communication with stakeholders at all levels through status reporting and executive updates.
• Implement and oversee quality control measures to ensure projects meet organizational standards and customer expectations.
• Continuously evaluate and improve project management processes and methodologies for efficiency.
• Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation, plans, and reports.
• Facilitate technical discussions and make informed decisions to support project requirements.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Management Information Systems or a related technical field
• Proven experience (5 years) as a Technical Project Manager or in a similar role within a technology-driven environment.
• Strong understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC), agile methodologies, and technical infrastructure.
• Certification in Project Management (PMP) or equivalent; demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to convey complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; ability to identify and resolve issues promptly.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience leading cross-functional teams and driving consensus among stakeholders with differing priorities.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, changing environment; experience in startups or similar entrepreneurial settings is a plus.
• Familiarity with Jira, Nodejs, React, Vue, AWS & Azure.
