Job summary

Insight Global is seeking an experienced Technical Project Manager to lead large-scale data center infrastructure deployments across North America. The role requires ownership from kickoff through final turnover, with a focus on schedules, budgets, risks, and customer deliverables.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of Project Management experience
• Data center, telecommunications, electrical, critical facilities, or infrastructure background
• Experience managing schedules, budgets, change orders, risks, and customer deliverables
• Experience coordinating field technicians, subcontractors, vendors, and multiple workstreams
• Knowledge of structured cabling, fiber optics, network infrastructure, rack-and-stack, and/or commissioning
• Strong customer-facing and stakeholder management skills

Responsibilities

• Own projects from kickoff through final turnover.
• Drive schedule, budget, execution, and customer communication.
• Coordinate with field technicians, subcontractors, vendors, and multiple workstreams across North America.
• Overssee large-scale data center infrastructure deployments and ensure successful turnover.

Technical Project Manager | Data Center Infrastructure

6 month contract (potential extensions)

Insight Global is looking for an experienced Technical Project Manager to support large-scale data center infrastructure deployments across North America.

We’re looking for someone who has managed complex infrastructure projects and is comfortable owning projects from kickoff through final turnover.

What we’re looking for:

• 8+ years of Project Management experience
• Data center, telecommunications, electrical, critical facilities, or infrastructure background
• Experience managing schedules, budgets, change orders, risks, and customer deliverables
• Experience coordinating field technicians, subcontractors, vendors, and multiple workstreams
• Knowledge of structured cabling, fiber optics, network infrastructure, rack-and-stack, and/or commissioning
• Strong customer-facing and stakeholder management skills

Nice to have:

• PMP certification
• Hyperscale or enterprise data center experience
• Fiber optic / structured cabling deployment experience
• Network hardware deployment experience including switches, routers, and servers
• Exposure to UPS systems, switchgear, generators, or electrical distribution
