Job summary

Q2 is seeking a detail-oriented Technical Project Manager to lead Fraud Intelligence implementations for financial institutions. You will interface with customers, coordinate technical tasks, and develop onboarding processes.

You must be an effective communicator and a proactive self-starter who can work independently or with cross-functional teams. The role is based in Q2 offices and travel is not required.

Qualifications

  • 3+ years with advanced degree or 5+ years with undergraduate degree in relevant field.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication, including experience with technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Ability to remain calm, diplomatic, and cooperative under stress.
  • Experience building client-facing documentation and materials.
  • Familiar with enterprise software architecture, SaaS, APIs, and technical integration workflows.

Responsibilities

  • Own and execute high volume of customer implementations; coordinate FI involvement, educate clients on product/config options, and triage issues.
  • Maintain records of FI project timelines and issues; inform forecasting and capacity planning; mitigate risks.
  • Serve as primary contact for escalations; coordinate with engineering, support and success teams.
  • Design and execute implementation plans and documentation to deploy Q2 solutions.
  • Continuously improve workflows and documentation for efficiency and user experience.
  • Ensure clear communication across teams and leadership with updates and recommendations.

SUMMARY

Q2 is seeking a detail-oriented Technical Project Manager to carry out Q2’s Fraud Intelligence implementations for financial institutions.

This person will interface directly with our customers, coordinate and execute technical tasks, and develop processes that inform and improve the onboarding experience.

You must be an effective communicator and a proactive self-starter who can operate effectively both independently and within cross-functional teams.

This work is performed out of our Q2 offices and does not require travel.

RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Own and execute high volume of customer implementations; including direct FI coordination, technical tasks, educating clients on the product and configuration options and issue triage.
  • Maintain clear records of FI project timelines and issues: manage project dates to inform financial and capacity forecasting; anticipate and mitigate risks as needed.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for escalations, ensuring swift resolution through coordination with engineering, support, and success teams.
  • Design and execute implementation plans and documentation to deploy Q2 solutions.
  • Continuously improve workflows and documentation to enhance operational efficiency and customer experience.
  • Ensure clear communication across teams and levels of leadership, providing updates, escalations, and recommendations when needed.
EXPERIENCE AND KNOWLEDGE
  • 3+ years with advance degree or 5+ years with undergraduate degree in relevant field (e.g. technical project management, partner operations, or platform support).
  • Attention to detail, exceptional follow-through, the ability to prioritize, stay organized, and multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication, including experience working with both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Ability to remain calm, diplomatic, and cooperative under stressful conditions
  • Experience building documentation and client-facing materials.
  • Experience using project management and support tools such as Jira, Confluence, Zendesk, Salesforce, or similar.
  • Familiarity with enterprise software architecture and methodologies, SaaS environments, APIs, and technical integration workflows a plus.
  • Preferred background in fintech, banking technology, or developer-focused platforms.

This position requires fluent written and oral communication in English.
