Job summary

Kyyba is seeking a senior technical program manager to lead delivery across remediation and modernization efforts for Java/WebLogic and Oracle-based applications. You will drive security remediation, manage cross-functional teams, and oversee release readiness in a complex multi‑application environment.

Reporting to client leadership, you will maintain delivery dashboards, escalate blockers, and coordinate stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Strong experience with Java/J2EE, Spring, WebLogic and enterprise applications.
• Strong Oracle Database, SQL, and PL/SQL experience.
• Hands-on understanding of CI/CD, Git, Jenkins, Azure DevOps, GitLab, or equivalent tools.
• Experience with SAST, DAST, OWASP, dependency vulnerabilities, and security remediation.
• Experience with legacy application modernization, JDK upgrades, refactoring, and migration.
• Good understanding of Agile SDLC, testing, code quality, and release management.

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

• Lead technical delivery across application remediation and modernization initiatives.


• Provide technical direction for Java/WebLogic and Oracle-based applications, including legacy JDK environments.


• Drive resolution of SAST, DAST, infrastructure, dependency, and application security findings.


• Assess remediation vs. modernization options based on technical risk, complexity, cost, and business impact.


• Work with architects and engineering teams on application upgrades, refactoring, and modernization.


• Oversee CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, security gates, and production deployments.


• Coordinate developers, QA, DevOps, infrastructure, security, and architecture teams.


• Own technical delivery tracking, including milestones, dependencies, risks, issues, action items, and remediation progress.


• Maintain delivery dashboards and provide concise status reporting to client and leadership stakeholders.


• Identify technical blockers and proactively drive resolution and escalation.


• Facilitate technical meetings, governance reviews, and stakeholder discussions.


• Review technical solutions, code changes, database scripts, testing outcomes, and remediation evidence.


• Ensure deliverables meet agreed scope, schedule, quality, security, and compliance requirements.


• Support release planning, deployment readiness, and production transition.


• Promote effective use of AI-assisted development and remediation tools with appropriate human oversight.

Required Technical Skills

• Strong experience with Java/J2EE, Spring, WebLogic, and enterprise applications.


• Strong Oracle Database, SQL, and PL/SQL experience.


• Hands‑on understanding of CI/CD, Git, Jenkins, Azure DevOps, GitLab, or equivalent tools.


• Experience with SAST, DAST, OWASP, dependency vulnerabilities, and security remediation.


• Experience with legacy application modernization, JDK upgrades, refactoring, and migration.


• Good understanding of Agile SDLC, testing, code quality, and release management.


• Exposure to cloud platforms and containerization is desirable.


• Experience with AI‑assisted software development/remediation is a plus.

PMO & Communication Skills

• Strong experience in technical program/project governance and PMO practices.


• Ability to manage status reporting, RAID logs, milestones, dependencies, action items, and delivery metrics.


• Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to communicate effectively with technical teams, architects, security teams, business stakeholders, and client leadership.


• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to translate complex technical issues into clear business‑level updates.


• Strong facilitation, presentation, negotiation, and escalation‑management skills.


• Ability to operate independently, prioritize competing demands, and maintain delivery focus in a complex multi‑application environment.
