Overview

Job Title: Technical Project Manager
Location: Oahu, Hawaii

Responsibilities

The Technical Project Manager will provide functions to support IT project management activities at unit level, this involves overseeing all aspects of the project, leading a team on large projects or a significant segment of large and complex projects.

• Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively with support personnel and communicate clearly with government leadership.
• Exceptional verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong documentation and technical writing abilities.
• Proven experience with the equipment covered under the contract.
• Proficient in utilizing computer-based project management tools.

Qualifications

• Active, in-scope US Government issued Secret clearance (Interim Secret Clearance is acceptable).
• Due to the nature of the work and contract requirements, US Citizenship is required.
• Candidates must meet applicable DCWF DoD 8140 requirements for the assigned work role (802-IT Project Manager - Intermediate) through approved certifications, or education, or military training, or a combination thereof.
• Qualifying 8140 certifications may include Security+, SecurityX/CASP+, or other DoD 8140-approved higher-level certifications aligned to the assigned work role.
• Minimum of twelve (12) years of progressive experience in design and development.
• At least five (5) years of management and supervisory experience overseeing military hardware and software development projects.
• Experience working with telecommunications or SATCOM systems.
• Knowledge of military communications, SATCOM, network infrastructure, and associated hardware and software systems.
• Demonstrated experience with SATCOM systems, including Deployable Ku-band Earth Terminals (DKET) or similar satellite ground terminals.
• A minimum of five (5) years of experience in systems analysis.
• Required certification: Security+.
• Able to travel to support mission up to 10%.

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science/ Management, OR an Associate's degree plus fifteen (15) years of recent specialized experience, OR twenty (20) years of recent specialized experience.
