Job summary

Trace Systems Inc. is seeking a Technical Project Manager in Oahu, Hawaii, to oversee IT project management activities at the unit level and lead teams on large, complex programs.

The role requires a Secret clearance, US citizenship, and 12+ years in design/development with 5+ years in management of military hardware/software projects, plus DoD 8140-aligned certifications and 10% travel.

Qualifications

  • Active, in-scope US Government issued Secret clearance (Interim Secret acceptable).
  • US Citizenship is required.
  • Must meet 8140 DoD requirements for the assigned work role (802-IT Project Manager - Intermediate) through approved certifications, education, or military training.
  • Qualifying 8140 certifications may include Security+, SecurityX/CASP+, or other DoD 8140-approved higher-level certifications.
  • Minimum of twelve (12) years of progressive experience in design and development.
  • At least five (5) years of management and supervisory experience overseeing military hardware and software development projects.
  • A minimum of five (5) years of experience in systems analysis.
  • Required certification: Security+.
  • Able to travel to support mission up to 10%.

Job Title: Technical Project Manager

  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively with support personnel and communicate clearly with government leadership.
  • Exceptional verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong documentation and technical writing abilities.
  • Proven experience with the equipment covered under the contract.
  • Proficient in utilizing computer-based project management tools.
Minimum Qualifications

Education
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science/ Management, OR an Associate’s degree plus fifteen (15) years of recent specialized experience, OR twenty (20) years of recent specialized experience.
