Job summary

Seek Thermal, Inc. in Goleta, CA is seeking a Technical Project Lead to own the technical critical path of new-product programs, coordinating across electrical, mechanical, software/firmware, optics, and systems to bring LWIR thermal imaging products from concept through production.

You will oversee design outputs, gate reviews, and technical trade-offs, drive risk mitigation, assign tasks, and represent engineering with customers and leadership.

Qualifications

• Degree in Electrical/Software/Mechatronics/Physics/Optical Engineering or related field.
• 5+ years of engineering experience, with 2+ years on the technical critical path of embedded hardware/software programs.
• U.S. Person status required per ITAR/EAR export control regulations.

Responsibilities

• Own the technical critical path of NPD programs through gates from concept to production.
• Ensure design outputs and reviews are complete and defensible at every gate.
• Document technical trade-offs and obtain cross-functional approval for scope and changes.
