Job summary

Seek Thermal is seeking a Technical Project Lead to own the technical critical path of new-product programs across the engineering spectrum. You will coordinate electrical, mechanical, software/firmware, optics, and systems teams to drive design decisions from concept through production.

You will report to the SVP of Engineering and must balance performance, cost, and schedule while ensuring verifiable PRD requirements and comprehensive design-control processes.

Qualifications

• Requires 5+ years in engineering, including 2+ years owning the technical critical path of embedded HW/SW programs.
• Experience with safety/process standards (ASPICE, ISO 9001) within formal design controls.
• Strong communication and coordination across multiple disciplines, including hardware, software, and systems.
• US person per ITAR/EAR export control regulations.

Responsibilities

• Own the technical critical path of new product development programs through phase gates from concept to production release.
• Ensure design outputs and review materials are complete and defensible at each gate.
• Make and document technical trade-offs with cross-functional approval for scope and design changes.
• Identify technical risks early and drive mitigation across the program.
• Assign engineering tasks and track status; maintain design documentation per design-control process.
• Drive root-cause and corrective actions when sensor, manufacturing, or integration issues threaten milestones.
• Ensure PRD requirements are testable and verification is defined before design gates.
• Provide SOWs, specifications, and represent engineering with customers and leadership.
