VOLTO Consulting in Los Angeles is seeking a Mechanical Design engineer with aerospace background to drive New Product Introduction and ongoing design activities.

You will work on defining processes, coordinating with customers, and delivering robust engineering solutions for production and service. A manufacturing engineering background and proficiency with SolidWorks, MATLAB Simulink and Catia are essential for success in this role.

Qualifications

• 6+ years aerospace experience required.
• Background in manufacturing engineering.
• Proficient with SolidWorks, MATLAB Simulink and Catia.

Responsabilités

• Lead New Product Introduction and sustaining project engineering.
• Develop the method/process on how to flow, control and execute the task.
• Interact with the customer to understand requirements and propose solutions.
• Design and development of modules and release processes.
• Track in-service reliability and investigations.
• Review non-conforming material.
• Implement production modifications.
• Segregate and triage data.
• Participate in business requirement discussions with technical input.
• Directly handle technical queries from customers.

• Experienced in SolidWorks, MATLAB Simulink, and Catia software.
• Background in manufacturing engineering.

Responsibilities

• New Product Introduction / Sustaining Project engineering, fulfilling the requirements of Project Engineers.
• Develop the method/process on how to flow, control and execute the task.
• Interact with the customer to understand the requirements and propose and implement solutions.
• Design and development of different modules and other release processes.
• In-service reliability tracking and investigations.
• Non-conforming material review.
• Production modifications.
• Data segregation and triaging.
• Participating in business requirement discussions and providing key technical inputs.
• Directly handling technical queries from customer.
