Job summary

Insight Global is seeking an IT Operations Risk Analyst in Plano, TX to coordinate, track, and deliver risk-driven work across multiple platforms (ServiceNow, Remedy, and Master Data Hub). You will partner with technical staff and TSM leaders to provide visibility into status, blockers, and mitigations of a diverse portfolio.

The role emphasizes strong ownership, high-quality written updates, and proactive risk management to keep plans on track and avoid unnecessary extensions.

Job Description

This role ensures operational risk work for critical Technology Service Management platforms is planned, tracked, and delivered on time. This analyst owns the coordination, escalation, and reporting of risk driven tasks in support of three platforms (ServiceNow, Remedy, and Master Data Hub) that enable key Global Technology processes. The role partners with technical staff who identify and execute the mitigation action steps and with TSM leaders who need visibility into this portfolio of work’s status, obstacles and areas needing attention.

• Receive, analyze, and organize operational and risk driven work from multiple sources (security, continuity planning, application monitoring, etc.)
• Translate incoming work into clear execution plans with defined actions, owners, timelines, and completion criteria
• Enforce consistent planning and status tracking despite differences in source systems and types of technical work
• Monitor hundreds of active items proactively, identifying issues and risks to delivery risk early
• Challenge and improve weak plans, incomplete and unclear updates, and unjustified timelines
• Drive teams toward meeting commitments, avoiding extension requests as much as possible
• Escalate execution issues to technical leaders when help is needed
• Prepare concise, meaningful summaries, top risks, and reporting on the portfolio of work for TSM leadership
