Job description

Who We Are

We’re Personified: a managed IT + cybersecurity services provider for campaigns, non-profits, and mission-aligned organizations. Our mission is to lead technology and security programs for our clients, enabling them to focus on their mission-critical work.

We act as an extension of our client teams — we handle all the responsibilities a traditional internal IT team would. We’re in our clients’ Slacks, we’re on a first-name basis with them (and their pets), we’re new hires’ first point of contact, and we’re the first stop for tech and cybersecurity issues. We aim to build trust, and we leverage this to keep the bad actors out.

We are looking for top talent as we continue to scale our team.

About the Role

The Technical Programs Project Manager is a full-time role that is responsible for the planning, execution, and delivery of projects both externally across 90+ clients and internally at Personified. This person should be able to navigate uncertainty, problem-solve, and stay on task. This person will help the Technical Programs team stay organized to ensure success across Personified’s client roster.

The ideal candidate for this role will be highly detail-oriented and adept at managing multiple internal and external communication streams. In addition to project management, the ideal candidate will be motivated to carry out tasks related to account and client management.

This is a remote position that reports to the Director of Technical Programs. Our team works across various communication platforms, including Slack, a ticketing system, and video calls, to coordinate and stay in touch throughout the day.

Responsibilities

Project Management

  • Direct the development and coordination of internal and external projects with the support of the Technical Programs Team.
  • Support and manage coordination between internal team and external clients to ensure capacity is dedicated to critical projects, priorities are aligned, and all project timelines and deliverables are met.
  • Maintain meticulous records of projects, properties, and needs across clients and programs — including issues, risks, decisions, and schedules.
  • Through excellent communication and prioritization, you will ensure clients’ IT and security needs are met as their organizations evolve.

Client Management and Support

  • As a key client point of contact, you will engage directly with clients to ensure they achieve compliance with digital security and that their IT needs are met.
  • You will develop and maintain strong, effective working relationships with clients. You will assist with new client onboarding and ensure Personified delivers on major projects identified at the start of the client engagement.
  • You will drive effective communication across internal team members and external client stakeholders by facilitating client check-ins, quarterly review calls, and by drafting written communications.
  • You will identify patterns within client tickets and calls and propose responses/solutions.
  • You will also ensure clients receive services within their scope of work.

Internal Project Management and Support

  • You will use your communication, planning, prioritization, and tracking skills to manage internal projects.
  • Support the Technical Programs team with client administrative tasks, as needed, including creating documents, updating templates, client communications and organizing data.
  • Collaborate with the Strategy, Policy & Trainings team to create and update internal documentation and file organization.
  • Serve as a trusted partner and team player at Personified. You will bring excitement and enthusiasm to other responsibilities, duties, and projects where your support and engagement is required.

Benefits

  • Remote work environment
  • Healthcare packages contributed to by Personified
  • Generous paid time off benefit
  • Optional 401K matched by Personified
  • Cell phone stipend
  • Annual Learning and Development stipend

Commitment to DEI

We believe in the power of diversity, and as we grow as a company, we are committed to creating an environment that promotes an inclusive culture and invites people of all backgrounds to join us.

Our commitment to these values is unwavering, and we strive to create and maintain a working environment that is inclusive, equitable, and welcoming.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to clearly and concisely articulate complex concepts for a variety of audiences.
  • Understanding of and experience with technology and digital security principles.
