Job summary

HRsmart in Arlington, VA, seeks a Technical Program Management Subject Matter Expert to support the Office of Naval Research. The SME will review technical documents, provide expert opinions, and guide ONR’s research direction while engaging with researchers and stakeholders.

Applicants should hold SECRET clearance or be able to obtain it, with extensive experience in engineering or science disciplines, and a strong track record in DoD S&T efforts.

Qualifications

• Requires Bachelor's degree and 25 years of experience in engineering, mathematics, or science.
• Or a Master's degree with 20 years of experience.
• Or a Doctorate with 15 years of experience.
• Recent experience with DoW (formerly DoD) S&T efforts and related fields.

Responsibilities

• Review white papers, proposals, and technical documents for ONR alignment.
• Provide expert opinions and guidance to inform program decisions.
• Prepare concise summaries, reports, and presentations of findings.
• Collaborate with ONR staff and partners to address research challenges.
