Job summary

HTC Global Services seeks an experienced SAP Project Manager to lead SAP implementations, upgrades, rollouts, and support programs. The role focuses on governance, agile tracking with JIRA, and cross‑functional collaboration across ERP modules and legacy systems.

You will manage epics, features, and release activities, drive PI planning, and ensure on‑time delivery with strong stakeholder communication and transparent reporting. Hybrid onsite work is required.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of SAP project management experience including implementations/upgrades.
• 6 years in IT.
• 3+ years of program management experience.
• Expert-level JIRA experience: board config, workflow, JQL, dashboards, Confluence integration.
• Strong knowledge of Agile/Scrum and Waterfall/hybrid delivery.

Responsibilities

• Lead SAP S/4HANA programs, including governance and delivery.
• Manage epics, features, and backlogs in JIRA.
• Coordinate PI planning, scoping, and release management.
• Track risks, issues, and RAID logs; manage change control.

Overview / Summary

We are seeking an experienced and highly organized SAP Project Manager to lead the planning, execution, and delivery of SAP implementation, upgrade, rollout, and support projects. The ideal candidate will have strong SAP program and project management expertise along with hands‑on experience using JIRA for agile project tracking, sprint planning, reporting, and cross‑functional collaboration.

This role will support structured SAP methodologies and agile delivery practices while ensuring transparency, accountability, and timely delivery across project workstreams.

Key Responsibilities

• Support governance activities for large-scale SAP S/4HANA programs.
• Lead tactical activities and support overall strategic program objectives.
• Manage epics, sub-epics, and features for product groups in JIRA.
• Assess issues, risks, and opportunities and support resolution activities.
• Track scope changes and manage change-control processes.
• Manage program-level CRAID logs covering change requests, risks, assumptions, issues, and decisions.
• Support the gathering and review of metrics for major releases and production releases.
• Support quarterly Program Increment (PI) planning and facilitate related logistics, breakout sessions, presentations, and workshops.
• Support and manage integration points between ERP modules and legacy or third‑party systems.
• Prepare product teams for PI planning events.
• Consolidate product‑line iteration reviews into product‑group iteration reviews and retrospectives.
• Coordinate product-team activities and track scope, timelines, and release management.
• Coordinate release activities including cutover, testing cycles, training programs, and data readiness.
• Support resolution of dependencies with product managers and foundational product teams.
• Remove blockers and impediments by ensuring issues are brought to the appropriate governance forums.
• Facilitate lessons learned and transition projects to steady‑state support and operations.
• Lead end-to-end SAP projects, including implementations, upgrades, rollouts, support enhancements, S/4HANA migrations, module deployments, and integration initiatives.
• Develop and maintain project plans, timelines, resource allocations, budgets, and risk registers.
• Own and administer JIRA boards, including epics, user stories, tasks, subtasks, backlogs, workflows, dashboards, and custom fields.
• Manage project governance activities, including status reporting, steering committee updates, RAID logs, and change management.
• Drive continuous improvement of project management practices, JIRA usage standards, and reporting templates.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience managing SAP projects in a project management capacity, including implementation, upgrade, or support projects.
• 6 years of experience in IT.
• 3 years of program management experience.
• Expert-level, daily hands‑on experience with JIRA, including:
  • Board configuration
  • Workflow automation
  • JQL queries
  • Dashboard creation
  • Confluence integration
• Strong knowledge of Agile/Scrum and Waterfall/hybrid project delivery frameworks.
• Strong stakeholder management, communication, and presentation skills.
• Proven ability to manage multiple concurrent projects and competing priorities.
• Experience with project management, release management, JIRA, Agile software development, and SAP ERP.

Preferred Qualifications

• PMP, PMI-ACP, CSM, or SAFe certification.
• SAP Activate or SAP certification in a relevant module.
• Experience with Power BI, Power Automate, JIRA Align, JIRA Service Management, or other Atlassian suite tools such as Confluence.
• Experience in the automotive or manufacturing industry.
• Familiarity with ITSM/change management tools such as ServiceNow alongside JIRA.
• Detail‑oriented approach with a focus on well‑organized JIRA boards and traceable project artifacts.
• Data‑driven approach to project reporting and status communication.Strong servant‑leadership mindset and ability to motivate cross‑functional, matrixed teams.
• Ability to work effectively in fast‑paced, evolving enterprise environments.

Work Arrangement

• Hybrid position with 4 days per week onsite.
