Job summary

HCLTech is seeking a highly talented Technical Program Manager for Advanced SoC Physical Design to lead end-to-end implementation programs from RTL handoff through GDSII signoff. Strong leadership and deep technical knowledge are essential to drive tape-out readiness.

The ideal candidate will coordinate design, verification, DFT, package, CAD, and silicon validation teams, manage risk, ensure schedule and quality, and engage customers across programs.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of semiconductor industry experience.
• Expertise in SoC backend/physical design.
• Experience leading full-chip SoC programs at advanced nodes (7nm/5nm/3nm).
• Strong RTL-to-GDSII and post-silicon activities knowledge.
• Ability to manage cross-functional, customer-facing engagements.
• Familiarity with Synopsys/Cadence tool flows.

The Technical Program Manager (TPM) – Advanced SoC Physical Design is responsible for leading end-to-end execution of complex SoC implementation programs from RTL handoff through GDSII signoff. The role combines deep technical expertise in advanced-node Physical Design with strong program leadership, customer engagement, risk management, and cross-functional coordination across Design, Verification, DFT, Package, CAD, and Silicon Validation teams.

The TPM serves as the single point of accountability for delivery predictability, schedule adherence, quality, customer communication, and successful tape-out execution. The ideal candidate possesses strong full-chip implementation experience across advanced process technologies and has demonstrated success driving large-scale ASIC/SoC programs to production.

Key Requirements:

• 10+ years of semiconductor industry experience.
• Strong hands-on expertise in SoC Backend/Physical Design including.
• Experience leading full-chip SoC implementation programs at advanced technology nodes (7nm/5nm/3nm preferred).
• Strong understanding of RTL-to-GDSII flows and post-silicon activities.
• Experience working with Synopsys/Cadence tools such as ICC2, Fusion Compiler, Innovus, PrimeTime, Tempus, RedHawk, and Calibre.
• Proven ability to manage cross-functional teams and drive customer-facing engagements.

Pay and Benefits

Pay Range Minimum: $95000/Year

Pay Range Maximum: $192000/Year
