Job summary

Google Inc. is seeking a Technical Program Manager for Supply Strategy and Portfolio Planning in Sunnyvale, CA.

You will lead complex, multi-disciplinary engineering projects, plan requirements with internal customers, and manage projects through the full lifecycle, communicating risks and trade-offs to stakeholders. You will drive identification of future opportunities, improve processes, and shape the technical directions of programs within the SSP and GIE teams.

As a Technical Program Manager at Google, you lead complex, multi-disciplinary engineering projects using your engineering expertise. You plan requirements with internal customers and usher projects through the entire project lifecycle. This includes managing project schedules, identifying risks and clearly communicating them to project stakeholders. The Supply Strategy and Portfolio Planning (SSP) team sits within GIE, and we manage a complex portfolio of infrastructure projects, ensuring that Google's services have the resources they need to operate seamlessly and reliably. SSP performs location strategy, regional planning and portfolio management to determine where, why, and how much infrastructure assets Google needs to seamlessly scale into the future. The Modeling and Analytics team, provides decision-making frameworks with underlying foundation to enable high-quality decisions at scale, faster and with less risk to meet the needs of Google’s business.
