Job summary

Applied Materials, Inc. is seeking an experienced Technical Program Manager to lead complex cross-functional programs focused on manufacturing readiness and supply chain resilience.

You will partner with Engineering, Quality, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, and external suppliers to drive programs from concept through implementation. Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, supply chain, operations, manufacturing, or related field.
• 7+ years of experience in Technical Program Management, Manufacturing Engineering, Supplier Quality, Operations, or Supply Chain.
• Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and operations.
• Experience working with supplier qualification and supplier quality methodologies.
• Proven ability to lead cross-functional technical projects.
• Strong stakeholder management and executive communication skills.
• Experience managing technical risks and driving issue resolution.

Responsibilities

• Prepares project plans and drives the project from conception and planning to implementation.
• Leads complex technical programs involving manufacturing, engineering, quality, and supply chain.
• Provides engineering and business process expertise to team and other members on standard programs.
• Identifies and resolves potential complications within the project and develops solutions.
• Drives supplier qualification and alternate source development initiatives to improve continuity.
• Evaluates manufacturing processes, supplier capabilities, and qualification readiness.
• Manages technical risks, develops mitigation plans, and drives issue resolution across stakeholders.
• Coordinates engineering change implementation and manufacturing readiness activities.
• Facilitates root cause investigations and corrective action plans with suppliers and internal teams.
• Develops and tracks program schedules, milestones, risks, dependencies, and executive communications.
• Drives cross-functional alignment to ensure successful project execution and business outcomes.
• Presents program status, technical risks, and mitigation strategies to senior leadership.
