Job summary

Applied Materials, Inc. seeks a Technical Program Manager (TPM) to lead cross-functional manufacturing initiatives from concept through implementation.

You will partner with Engineering, Quality, Manufacturing, and Supply Chain to drive programs that improve readiness, supplier qualification, and supply chain resilience. The ideal candidate has 7+ years in TPM or related roles, strong program management skills, and a solid technical background in manufacturing operations and supplier quality.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Supply Chain, Operations, Manufacturing, or related field is required.
• 7+ years of experience in Technical Program Management, Manufacturing Engineering, Supplier Quality, Operations, or Supply Chain.
• Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and operations; experience with supplier qualification and supplier quality methodologies.
• Proven ability to lead cross-functional technical projects and manage stakeholders, risks, and timelines.

Responsibilities

• Prepares project plans and drives the project from conception and planning to implementation.
• Lead complex technical programs involving manufacturing, engineering, quality, and supply chain.
• Drive supplier qualification and alternate source development initiatives to improve business continuity.
• Develop and track program schedules, milestones, risks, dependencies, and executive communications.
• Present program status and mitigation strategies to senior leadership.
