fab2 in Austin, TX is seeking a Technical Program Manager to translate top-level company goals into technical programs and drive execution from concept through integration. You’ll report to our CEO and coordinate mechanical, electrical, software, and production teams to build out a cohesive system.

The role emphasizes managing complex hardware programs, delivering on tight timelines, and maintaining clear communication with leadership.

Qualifications

5+ years managing complex hardware projects.
Ability to deliver on tight engineering timelines and manage trade-offs.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Experience with a project management software.

Responsibilities

Manage the development of fab tools and components from requirements definition to production release.
Drive cross-functional execution across mechanical, electrical, embedded/software, and production to hit spec and schedule.
Maintain the critical path, surface technical risks early, and define mitigations and alternate routes to keep projects moving.
Communicate status, decisions, and risks proactively across teams and up to leadership.
Build lightweight project management systems for planning, communication, and visibility.
