Job summary

Nautilus Biotechnology is seeking a Technical Project Manager in San Carlos, CA to lead cross-functional teams across R&D, Product Management and Manufacturing, driving the development of the Nautilus proteomics platform from concept through first commercial release.

You will manage complex projects, plan scope and milestones, translate technical risks into actionable plans, and align development with customer needs and market timing to enable a successful product launch.

Qualifications

Minimum 8 years of relevant Project Management experience focused on Product Development in biotech or life sciences
Experience taking a product from concept to a successful commercial launch
Strong cross-functional collaboration with R&D,Product Management, Manufacturing and Commercial
PMP, SAFe or equivalent Agile certifications required
Experience at an early-stage startup is a plus

Responsibilities

Lead technical team to a successful first commercial launch across technical and commercial functions
Manage multiple projects for development of the Nautilus platform (assays, consumables, software, hardware)
Define scope, objectives and goals; report progress with dashboards and tools
Develop plans, milestones, and deliverables from concept to product release
Translate technical risks into actionable, measurable plans with metrics
Coordinate with Product Management and Commercial to align customer needs with development priorities
Ensure alignment of development milestones with customer-facing dates and market timing
