The Amazon Robotics Autonomous Mobility team develops software that powers Proteus, Amazon’s first fully-autonomous mobile warehouse robot. We are growing and seek a talented and motivated Technical Program Manager to lead critical s expand our product portfolio and meet the growing demand for autonomous mobile robots across the fulfillment network. In this role you will collaborate with an industry-leading team of scientists and engineers developing state-of-the-art technologies and algorithms for autonomous motion planning and vehicle control to enable robots to safely, reliably and efficiently navigate through dynamic environments in the presence of humans and other equipment. The successful candidate will be a hands‑on TPM with a track record of coordinating complex product development initiatives and delivering high-performance, scalable and reliable systems that solve real-world problems. Experience with robotics, hardware/software systems and/or embedded systems is strongly desired.
We are a multi-disciplinary team of Applied Scientists and Software Engineers with expertise in Computer Vision, SLAM, motion planning and controls. Our mission is to deliver a robust software solution the utilizes state-of-the art sensor technologies and algorithms to enable safe and efficient operation of autonomous mobile robots throughout the Amazon fulfillment and transportation network. The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
