Amazon.com Services LLC is seeking an experienced Technical Program Manager to lead advanced robotics initiatives at scale. You will coordinate with engineering, applied science, and research teams to shape priorities, milestones, and releases for autonomous robotics systems.

You will translate complex research objectives into actionable plans, manage multi-quarter roadmaps, and ensure alignment across multiple orgs.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of technical product or program management experience.
  • 7+ years of working directly with engineering teams.
  • 3+ years of software development experience.
  • 5+ years of technical program management working directly with software engineering teams experience.
  • Experience managing programs across cross functional teams, building processes and coordinating release schedules.

Responsibilities

  • Work cross-functionally with TPMs, program teams, SW teams, and research to align priorities and timelines.
  • Translate ambiguous objectives into structured plans with milestones and owners.
  • Identify risks early, escalate with data, and drive resolution.
  • Build and maintain reviews and dashboards for leadership visibility.
  • Coordinate across orgs to unblock teams and negotiate tradeoffs.
  • Drive multi-quarter roadmap planning with engineering and science leadership.
  • Translate customer and business needs into a sequenced product roadmap and releases.
  • Show ownership of projects across teams and build strong internal relationships.

Key job responsibilities
  • Work cross functionally with other TPMs, program teams, SW teams, applied scientists, and research to align on priorities, dependencies, and delivery timelines
  • Translate ambiguous research objectives into structured plans with clear milestones, owners, and exit criteria
  • Identify risks and dependencies early, elevate with data and drive resolution
  • Build and maintain mechanisms (reviews, dashboards, status cadences) that give leadership visibility without creating drag on teams
  • Coordinate across orgs to unblock teams, resolve competing priorities, and negotiate tradeoffs
  • Drive multi-quarter roadmap planning in partnership with engineering and science leadership
  • Manage a cross functional process to translate customer and business needs into a sequenced product roadmap and releases
  • Show ownership and leadership in coordinating projects across multiple teams, driving them to successful conclusion while building strong relationships with internal partners

Basic Qualifications
  • 5+ years of technical product or program management experience
  • 7+ years of working directly with engineering teams experience
  • 3+ years of software development experience
  • 5+ years of technical program management working directly with software engineering teams experience
  • Experience managing programs across cross functional teams, building processes and coordinating release schedules
Preferred Qualifications
  • 5+ years of project management disciplines including scope, schedule, budget, quality, along with risk and critical path management experience
  • Experience managing projects across cross functional teams, building sustainable processes and coordinating release schedules
  • Experience defining KPI's/SLA's used to drive multi-million dollar businesses and reporting to senior leadership

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
