Job summary

Google is seeking a Technical Program Manager to lead complex, multi-disciplinary initiatives across the AI and Infrastructure teams. You will plan requirements, identify risks, manage schedules, and communicate with executives and engineers alike.

As part of a diverse organization, you will help drive the development of scalable AI models and infrastructure, delivering reliable computing power to global services and customers worldwide.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in a technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 2 years of experience in program management.
  • Experience with data center or networking deployments.
  • Experience working with data analytics tools and reporting platforms.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with team members and stakeholders to understand program goals, requirements, and deliverables.
  • Prioritize program goals and translate stakeholder needs into actionable deliverables.
  • Define the scope of projects and develop, execute or manage project plans for supported programs.
  • Review key metrics, monitor deviations, and define corrective actions for critical issues.
  • Identify and collaborate with stakeholders to drive impact and align on mutual goals.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
  • Bachelor's degree in a technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 2 years of experience in program management.
  • Experience with data center or networking deployments.
  • Experience working with data analytics tools and reporting platforms.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • 2 years of experience managing cross-functional or cross-team projects.
  • Experience in vendor management.
  • Familiarity with network planning and engineering, including data center network engineering in complex environments.

Individual pay is determined by factors including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.

US: $138000 - $197000 (USD) + 15% bonus target + equity + benefits

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Collaborate with team members and stakeholders to understand or identify defined work issues and program goals, obtain prioritized deliverables, and discuss program impact.
  • Prioritize program goals, understand and translate other stakeholders’ needs into program goals and prioritized deliverables with minimal assistance, and contribute to decisions on prioritizing goals and deliverables.
  • Define the scope of projects and develop, execute or manage project plans for supported programs.
  • Review key metrics pertaining to a program, monitor potential metric deviations, and define corrective actions for critical deviations.
  • Identify, communicate, and collaborate with relevant stakeholders within one or more teams to drive impact and work toward mutual goals.
