Job summary

Google is seeking a Technical Program Manager to lead complex, multi-disciplinary projects from start to finish. You will plan requirements, identify risks, manage schedules, and communicate with cross-functional partners and executives.

The Data Center team designs and operates sophisticated electrical and HVAC systems while a diverse team of engineers builds impactful solutions. Individual pay is determined by factors including skills, experience, and training.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a technical field or equivalent practical experience.
• 2 years of experience in program management.
• Experience driving Machine Learning programs and building applications.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with team members and stakeholders to understand defined work problems and program goals, obtain prioritized deliverables, and discuss program impact.
• Prioritize program goals and translate stakeholder needs into deliverables with minimal supervision.
• Define the scope of projects and develop, execute, or manage project plans for supported programs.
• Review key metrics and define corrective actions for deviations.
• Identify, communicate, and collaborate with stakeholders to drive impact and mutual goals.

Job description

• Prioritize program goals, understand and translate other stakeholders’ needs into program goals and prioritized deliverables with minimal assistance, and contribute to decisions on prioritizing goals and deliverables.

• Review key metrics pertaining to a program, monitor potential metric deviations, and define corrective actions for critical deviations.
