Job summary

Google seeks a Technical Program Manager in Atlanta, GA to lead complex, multi-disciplinary projects from start to finish. You will plan requirements, identify risks, manage schedules, and communicate clearly with cross-functional partners across the company.

The AI and Infrastructure teams drive breakthrough capabilities at scale, delivering reliable infrastructure and services for Googlers, Google Cloud customers, and billions of users worldwide.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil, Structural, Mechanical, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
• 2 years of experience in the construction industry, with a focus on project or program management.
• Experience applying project controls principles (cost, schedule, scope, risk).
• Experience delivering utility infrastructure projects (power, water, roadways).

Responsibilities

• Be accountable for cost, schedule, and change reporting of utility infrastructure projects in your region.
• Ensure timely escalation of project issues to stakeholders.
• Maintain accuracy of project data in enterprise tools.
• Handle regional planning and forecasting for a global capital plan.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to document and improve project controls processes.

Minimum qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Civil, Structural, Mechanical, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
• 2 years of experience in the construction industry, with a focus on project or program management.
• Experience applying project controls principles (e.g., cost, schedule, scope, and risk management).
• Experience delivering utility infrastructure projects, including power, water, and roadways.

Preferred qualifications:

• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
• Experience working in the data center sector or related mission-critical industries.
• Track record of successfully leading large cross-functional teams across multiple departments.
• Ability to effectively prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills to foster and maintain relationships with cross-functional partners.

Individual pay is determined by factors including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.

US: $138000 - $197000 (USD) + 15% bonus target + equity + benefits

Responsibilities

• Be accountable for the cost, schedule, and change reporting of all utility infrastructure projects within your designated region.
• Ensure the timely escalation of all project issues to the appropriate internal and external stakeholders.
• Maintain the accuracy of and updates to project-level data within enterprise project management tools.
• Handle regional planning and forecasting to contribute to a global infrastructure capital plan.
• Engage collaboratively with stakeholders to document, maintain, and improve existing project controls processes.
