Job summary

itD is seeking a Technical Program Manager II to drive end-to-end program execution across consumer device programs. The role coordinates engineering, product, and operations teams to deliver complex initiatives from concept through production.

Hybrid work with onsite days in Sunnyvale, CA or Redmond, WA; pay is $35–$37/hour for 12 months, with comprehensive benefits. The ideal candidate has strong SDLC knowledge, cross-functional leadership, and a proven track record managing multi-program

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of experience as a Technical Program Manager in software or consumer device programs.
  • Strong program planning, scheduling, tracking, and risk management experience.
  • Proven ability to coordinate cross-functional teams (engineering, product, operations).
  • Knowledge of SDLC and product development processes.
  • Excellent communication of status, risks, and mitigations to stakeholders.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related technical field.

Responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end execution of technical programs, ensuring delivery within scope, timeline, and quality standards.
  • Develop and manage detailed project plans, schedules, and milestones across multiple concurrent programs.
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams including engineering, product, and operations to drive alignment and execution.
  • Monitor program health by tracking key metrics, identifying risks, and driving mitigation strategies.
  • Facilitate program reviews, status reporting, and executive-level communications.
  • Oversee issue resolution, dependency management, and contingency planning across complex systems.
  • Drive continuous process improvements to enhance program efficiency and delivery outcomes.

Job description

itD is seeking a Technical Program Manager II to drive end-to-end program execution and system health initiatives across consumer device programs within the Company. This role plays a critical part in ensuring successful delivery of complex, cross-functional programs by coordinating engineering, product, and operations teams while managing risks, timelines, and dependencies. The ideal candidate will bring strong expertise in technical program management, software development lifecycle, and cross-functional leadership, with a proven track record of delivering large-scale product initiatives from concept through production.

Location: Hybrid – Onsite 3 days/week (Sunnyvale, CA or Redmond, WA)

Pay Rate: $35 - $37 per hour, depending on experience

Duration: 12 months

  • Attend regular internal practice community meetings
  • Collaborate with your itD practice team on industry thought leadership
  • Complete client case studies and learning material (blogs, media material)
  • Build out material to contribute to the Digital Transformation practice
  • Attend internal itD networking events (in person and virtual)
  • Work with leadership on career fast-track opportunities
Required Qualifications and Skills
  • 3+ years of experience as a Technical Program Manager managing software or consumer device programs
  • Strong experience with program planning, scheduling, tracking, and risk management
  • Experience managing complex, cross-functional programs with multiple dependencies
  • Knowledge of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and product development processes
  • Proven ability to communicate program status, risks, and mitigation plans to technical and business stakeholders
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical discipline
Preferred Qualifications and Skills
  • Experience working on consumer device programs (hardware/software integration)
  • Experience with system health, performance metrics, or device stability initiatives
  • Familiarity with battery performance, firmware, or embedded systems
  • PMP or PMI certification
  • Experience working in large-scale, multi-platform environments or big tech organizations
Education
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical field required
  • MBA or advanced degree preferred
