Position Overview

We are looking for a Technical Program Manager to oversee the creation and verification of HV and LV electromechanical components for advanced grid-scale battery solutions. You will be responsible for synchronizing efforts across mechanical engineering, electrical design, systems architecture, manufacturing, testing, and supply chain teams to shepherd products from initial concept to full-scale production.

This position is ideal for a detail-oriented program leader who thrives in a rapid hardware development setting, where you will have the authority to shape product strategy, oversee intricate engineering timelines, and guarantee the achievement of essential project goals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee the full lifecycle of HV/LV electromechanical systems, ensuring seamless transitions from initial specifications and design evaluations to prototype testing and final manufacturing.
  • Help ensure project success by creating and managing comprehensive schedules that align technical engineering outputs with broader program objectives.
  • Facilitate collaboration between diverse departments including manufacturing, quality assurance, and engineering to streamline execution and mitigate potential project obstacles.
  • Drive continuous improvement by overseeing initiatives related to product cost efficiency, quality enhancement, and the maturation of component roadmaps.
  • Maintain project momentum by proactively identifying potential schedule disruptions and implementing effective strategies to overcome technical hurdles.
  • Provide clear visibility into project health by reporting on key performance indicators and milestone status to senior engineering management.
  • Ensure organizational alignment by integrating granular component-level timelines with high-level program requirements.
  • Foster team accountability and ensure timely task completion by actively monitoring and driving resolution of Jira-based action items.
  • Support the successful launch of products by managing engineering change orders, verifying component readiness, and overseeing bill of materials (BOM) accuracy.
Required Qualifications
  • Possess at least 5 years of professional experience in technical program management, specifically within sectors like energy storage, electric vehicles, robotics, or high-voltage battery systems.
  • Demonstrate a track record of guiding engineering products through the entire development cycle, from initial design and validation to successful mass production.
  • Showcase the ability to manage complex cross-functional dependencies and ensure that all project milestones are met through diligent schedule maintenance.
  • Demonstrate a strong grasp of complex, multilevel bills of materials, including the management of electrical and mechanical component structures.
  • Exhibit expertise in managing product release workflows, including formal engineering change management and the maintenance of part and BOM documentation.
  • Utilize project management software such as Smartsheet for scheduling and Jira for issue tracking to improve team efficiency and project transparency.
