Comrise is looking for an experienced Technical Program Manager (TPM) – Hardware Development to drive high-complexity hardware programs from concept through architecture, EVT/DVT/PVT builds, and production ramp.

Key Responsibilities

• End-to-End Program Execution: Own hardware development lifecycles from initial concept and architecture through EVT, DVT, PVT, and production ramp.
• Cross-Functional Alignment: Translate top-level strategic milestones into detailed product roadmaps, schedules, and deliverables across Hardware (HW), Software (SW), Firmware (FW), Systems, and Functional Safety teams.
• Contract Manufacturer (CM) Management: Partner with external CMs to execute prototype/engineering builds, incorporate DFM/DFT feedback, and ensure factory readiness for mass production.
• Risk & Schedule Management: Proactively identify program bottlenecks and technical risks, drive mitigation plans, and leverage tools like Jira and Gantt charts to keep schedules on track.
• Executive Communication: Facilitate regular program reviews, set key decision agendas, and deliver clear status updates to leadership and cross-functional stakeholders.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Experience: 6+ years of Technical Program Management (TPM) or Engineering Program Management (EPM) experience taking complex hardware products from concept to production ramp.
• Industry Background: Strong preference for candidate backgrounds in Automotive, Autonomous Systems, or high-volume Consumer Electronics at the system or sub-system level.
• NPI Phase Expertise: Proven track record directly managing EVT, DVT, and PVT build cycles and working with external Contract Manufacturers (CMs).
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related engineering discipline (or equivalent practical experience).
• Work Model: Ability to work onsite at least 3 days per week in Foster City, CA.

Bonus Qualifications

• Master’s degree (MS) in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering.
• Experience directly managing 2+ full development cycles for integrated HW/SW systems.
• TPM experience extending through mass production (MP) and post-MP sustaining phases.
