Job summary

AMD seeks a passionate engineering leader to manage a Silicon Engineering group, coordinating with internal teams and external partners to advance next-generation computing technologies. Strong program management and cross-functional communication are essential.

Responsibilities include guiding FPGA-based ASIC design cycles, applying project management best practices, and escalating issues to deliver complex programs on time. This is an on-site San Jose role with occasional travel.

Qualifications

• Strong technical program management skills with proven track record delivering complex programs.
• Lead and coordinate FPGA-based ASIC design projects with internal and external partners.
• Excellent communication across executive to working level discussions.

Responsibilities

• Understand FPGA-based ASIC design cycle, validation, and Vivado flows.
• Apply project management principles to projects of significant technical importance.
• Escalate and mitigate issues across AMD teams, customers and partners.
• Coordinate cross-development team dependencies and communications.
• Identify actions to address risks during the project lifecycle.
• Be available for discussions across time zones with colleagues and customers.
