Job summary

Google is recruiting a Technical Program Manager to lead complex, multi-disciplinary projects from start to finish. You will plan requirements, identify risks, manage schedules, and communicate with cross-functional partners across the company.

The AI and Infrastructure team enables breakthrough capabilities at scale, delivering computing power, and provides platforms for developers to build the future. You will interact with executives and engineers to discuss tradeoffs and align on goals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a technical field or equivalent practical experience.
• 2 years of experience in program management.
• 2 years of experience managing cross-functional projects.
• Experience as a system or software architect in a supply chain or operations role.
• Experience working in the data center or cloud computing.
• Experience in agile software development and managing multiple applications.
• Experience deploying server, storage, networking, racks and system software at high scale and supporting product features, services and technologies.
• Experience working with cross-functional teams composed of both technical and non-technical members.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with team members and stakeholders to understand or identify defined work problems and program goals, obtain prioritized deliverables, and discuss program impact.
• Prioritize program goals, understand and translate other stakeholders needs into program goals and prioritized deliverables with minimal assistance, and contribute to decisions on prioritizing goals and deliverables.
• Define the scope of projects and develop, execute, or manage project plans for supported programs.
• Review key metrics pertaining to a program, monitor potential metric deviations, and define corrective actions for critical deviations.
• Identify, communicate, and collaborate with relevant stakeholders within one or more teams to drive impact and work toward mutual goals.

US: $138000 - $197000 (USD) + 15% bonus target + equity + benefits
