Job summary

Google is seeking a Technical Program Manager to lead complex, multi-disciplinary projects from start to finish, coordinating requirements, risks, schedules, and cross-functional communication.

You’ll be part of the AI and Infrastructure team delivering high-scale capabilities for Google Cloud, data centers, and related services, collaborating with engineers and executives alike. Individual pay reflects skills, experience, and education.

  • 2 years of experience in program management.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with team members and stakeholders to understand or identify defined work problems and program goals, obtain prioritized deliverables, and discuss program impact.
  • Prioritize program goals, understand and translate other stakeholders needs into program goals and prioritized deliverables with minimal assistance, and contribute to decisions on prioritizing goals and deliverables.
  • Define the scope of projects and develop, execute, or manage project plans for supported programs.
  • Review key metrics pertaining to a project, monitor potential metric deviations, and define corrective actions for critical deviations.
  • Identify, communicate, and collaborate with relevant stakeholders within one or more teams to drive impact and work toward mutual goals.

Minimum qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in a technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 2 years of experience in program management.
Preferred qualifications:
  • 2 years of experience managing cross-functional or cross-team projects.
  • Experience as a system or software architect in a supply chain or operations role.
  • Experience working in the data center or cloud computing.
  • Experience in agile software development and managing multiple applications.
  • Experience in deployment of server, storage, networking, racks and system software at high scale and supporting product features, services and technologies.
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams composed of both technical and non-technical members.

US: $138000 - $197000 (USD) + 15% bonus target + equity + benefits
