Job summary

Google is seeking a Technical Program Manager to architect and drive a global program to accelerate data center turnover from construction to operations. You will plan requirements with internal customers, manage schedules, identify risks, and coordinate across offices, time zones, and hemispheres to keep all stakeholders aligned.

• 8 years of program management experience at data centers, manufacturing, oil and gas, or other 24x7 operations.
• Experience supporting teams to deliver projects in evolving environments.
• Experience with process documentation, process mapping, and workflow improvements.
• Excellent problem-solving and advanced data analytics skills.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and launch a new program to help construction teams turnover data centers.
• Foster optimization and speed while collecting, analyzing, and visualizing the data needed to drive the program forward.
• Standardize issue mitigation, issue remediation, and risk management plans. Understanding what level of infrastructure will be available at turnover and ensure the process scales with the future growth of the business.
• Engage and obtain input from our operational leaders to ensure we are making well informed decisions. Maintain relationships with our partner organizations to ensure they are actively participating, engaged, and involved early and often.
• Drive standardization and consistency across global processes to ensure uniform decision making.

Your projects will span offices, time zones and hemispheres, and will keep all the players coordinated on the project's progress and deadlines.
In this role, you will design, develop, and launch a new global program to accelerate data center turnover from construction to operations. The process must be built upon a culture of respect, empowerment, data, and speed. Once up and running, you will engage in the process daily to ensure it's operating smoothly, support high-priority decisions, illuminate gaps, and drive process improvements.
You will also leverage your skills to help facilitate individual site, regional, and global turnover decisions by breaking them down into smaller pieces.
Individual pay is determined by factors including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
US: $163000 - $236000 (USD) + 15% bonus target + equity + benefits
