Job summary

O’Reilly Auto Parts is seeking a Technical Program Manager to drive end-to-end delivery of cross-functional technology programs powering our eCommerce, store systems, supply chain, and enterprise technology. You will partner with engineering, product, and business stakeholders to define scope and plans, drive execution across teams, manage risks, and report progress to leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in any field; technical discipline a plus
• 5+ years of technical program or project management experience delivering cross-functional technology initiatives
• Experience delivering programs using Agile (Scrum, Kanban) and Waterfall/hybrid approaches
• Knowledge of software development lifecycle and IT concepts including networking, hardware, and infrastructure
• Experience managing program risks, dependencies, and stakeholder escalations across concurrent workstreams
• Experience driving governance activities and vendor coordination across complex programs
• Proficiency with program management tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence, Smartsheet, Azure DevOps)

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end delivery of technology programs across technology and business functions
• Develop and maintain integrated program plans with scope, schedules, milestones, and resourcing
• Drive cross-functional execution across engineering, QA, and business teams
• Identify, track, and mitigate risks, issues, and dependencies and escalate as needed
• Engage with engineering on technical trade-offs and platform implications
• Establish and report program health metrics and deliver status to leadership
• Support portfolio planning with prioritization, estimation, scheduling, and resourcing
• Track budgets and communicate financial status and impacts to leadership
• Facilitate program meetings and working sessions with strong facilitation
• Champion Agile, Lean, and DevOps practices and drive process improvements
• Mentor peers and share best practices
