Job summary

Torch Technologies in Huntsville, AL seeks a Program Manager – Technical to lead development and execution of non-standard military systems, interfacing with industry partners and government customers in a fast-paced defense environment.

You will manage cost, schedule, and resources, produce executive briefings, coordinate cross-functional teams, and help shape workflows that improve program performance. Onsite work, US citizenship required, DoD security clearance preferred.

Qualifications

• U.S. Citizenship required.
• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Design, Materials Eng., Mechanical Eng., or related field; advanced degree preferred.
• 5+ years in product and solutions development environments.
• Secret level DoW Clearance; security clearance preferred.
• Proficiency in CAD software (SolidWorks, Rhino, patterning tools).

Responsibilities

• Develop a team that can design, model, and engineer military-grade structures.
• Coordinate inputs from multiple groups and track monthly progress.
• Integrate costs and schedule with program managers and technical leads.
• Prepare executive level briefings and supporting documentation for reviews.
• Assist technical leads with change documentation and forecasting.
