Job summary

Amazon Data Services, Inc. in Herndon, VA is seeking a Technical Program Manager for Configuration Management to lead BOM creation, PLM process improvements, and global implementation of components and data supporting AWS infrastructure.

You will own programs, develop strategies, manage risks, and coordinate with multiple stakeholder groups. You will collaborate with engineering and supply chain teams to design functional specifications, drive part setups, and execute changes for new product

Qualifications

3+ years of technical product or program management experience.
3+ years of project management disciplines including scope, schedule, budget, quality, with risk/critical path management.
Experience managing programs across cross functional teams and coordinating release schedules.
2+ years building BOMs in Product Lifecycle Management applications.

Responsibilities

Create product BOMs and process change orders in a PLM system.
Act as an advocate of Product Lifecycle Management practices and processes.
Own a program, develop strategies, identify risk, define success criteria, execute project plans, and communicate to stakeholders.
Collaborate with customers to understand requirements and develop designs, configuration, and specs.
Drive BOM releases and changes to support NPI and sustaining the business.
Participate in process improvements focused on systems, reporting, and data analysis.
