Job description

About Nebius:

Nebius is leading a new era in cloud infrastructure for the global AI economy. We are building a full-stack AI cloud platform that supports developers and enterprises from data and model training through to production deployment, without the cost and complexity of building large in-house AI/ML infrastructure.

Built by engineers, for engineers. From large-scale GPU orchestration to inference optimization, we own the hard problems across compute, storage, networking and applied AI.

Listed on Nasdaq (NBIS) and headquartered in Amsterdam, we have a global footprint with R&D hubs across Europe, the UK, North America and Israel. Our team of 1,500+ includes hundreds of engineers with deep expertise across hardware, software and AI R&D.

About the team

The Compute Systems Engineering organization owns the full systems stack behind Nebius HPC and GPU Cloud deployments. We develop and operate the core components of our virtualization platform- including the Linux kernel, KVM, QEMU, device drivers, and firmware - together with ultra-high-bandwidth, HPC-grade networking, state-of-the-art NVIDIA GPUs, and other cutting-edge hardware.

In less than two years, we have brought up and successfully operated large-scale B300 and H200 GPU clusters for Cloud customers. These deployments comprise tens of thousands of GPUs across multiple data centers in US, UK, France, and other European countries - with hundreds of thousands more GPUs expected to follow. One of our most significant challenges is continuing to evolve and scale the Nebius Compute platform to support NVIDIA's flagship GB300 systems and upcoming VR200 solutions.

Our organization is responsible for:

  • Regularly adapting our systems stack to support the latest hardware platforms and technologies.
  • Developing and maintaining performance improvements and customer-facing capabilities - based on both business requirements and engineering needs.
  • Building and operating reliable, comprehensive deployment automation and validation processes.
  • Ensuring that our systems provide sufficient observability across the entire stack.
  • Supporting customers with complex technical issues that prevent them from fully utilizing Nebius Cloud GPU and CPU capacity.

We participate in every major hardware bring-up at Nebius, delivering critical platform enablers and conducting comprehensive system validations. The reliability and performance of Nebius Cloud offerings depend directly on the work of our organization.

About the role

We are looking for a seasoned Technical Program Manager with approximately five to ten years of relevant experience. You will help us sustain, scale, and continuously improve our operational and software development processes, both within the Compute Systems Engineering organization and across the broader set of teams, partners, customers, and vendors with whom we collaborate.

You will work in a deeply technical and fast-moving environment where successful programs require coordination across hardware and software engineering, infrastructure, cloud operations, customer support, and external technology partners. You will help teams manage complex dependencies, identify and address risks, improve execution, and establish processes that continue to work as the scale and complexity of our infrastructure grow.

This role requires someone who is comfortable operating across organizational boundaries, working with incomplete information, and bringing clarity and structure to technically complex, long-running infrastructure programs.

What we're looking for
  • Demonstrated ability to coordinate complex technical programs across multiple teams, identify dependencies and risks, establish clear ownership, and drive programs toward measurable outcomes.
  • Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain productive cross-functional relationships with engineering teams, business partners, customers, and vendors.
  • Relevant technical knowledge and a strong curiosity about how systems work. Our platforms are inherently complex, operate close to the hardware, and contain many moving parts, so the ability to understand technical details and communicate effectively with engineers will be a significant advantage.
  • Strong attention to detail, particularly when managing long-running infrastructure programs with numerous technical dependencies, milestones, stakeholders, and operational requirements.
  • An open-minded and creative approach to problem-solving. You should be willing to simplify, adapt, replace, or fundamentally redesign existing processes when doing so will improve efficiency, execution, or reliability.
  • A hands‑on mindset and a willingness to contribute directly when needed. The ability to assist teams with program execution, technical coordination, documentation, process development, issue investigation, or operational improvements will be highly valued.
  • Experience working on Cloud computing, high-performance computing, accelerated computing, large-scale infrastructure, or similarly complex engineering programs is a strong plus.
  • Experience with device drivers, the Linux kernel, virtualization technologies, or firmware development and lifecycle-management processes is also a strong plus.

Benefits & Perks:

  • Competitive compensation
  • Career growth and learning opportunities
  • Flexibility and ownership
  • Collaborative and innovative culture
  • Opportunity to work on impactful AI projects
  • International environment and talented teams
