Job summary

Nebius Group is seeking a Data Center GM to lead regional data center operations in the Midwest, starting with Missouri and expanding to additional sites. This senior role owns operations, performance, and team build-out across multiple sites, acting as the primary interface with external partners to ensure reliable, scalable data center services.

The role requires 10+ years in data center operations, strong leadership, and experience with critical infrastructure.

Qualifications

  • 10+ years in data center or mission-critical operations.
  • Experience leading data center operations teams and site managers.
  • Strong background in critical environment infrastructure (power, cooling, environmental systems).
  • Experience working with third-party vendors and external stakeholders.
  • Proven ability to operate in high-availability, large-scale environments.

  • Ownership, accountability, and autonomy in delivery.

Responsibilities

  • Own end-to-end data center operations across the region, including facilities and IT infrastructure.
  • Ensure uptime, performance, and SLA delivery across all sites.
  • Scale from single-site to multi-site regional footprint (Missouri → other locations).
  • Hire, lead, and develop data center managers and operations teams.
  • Interface with external partners, vendors, utilities, and service providers.
  • Drive incident response and improvements, including root cause analysis and standardization.
  • Implement and maintain operational excellence frameworks, monitoring, and visibility.
  • Ensure safety, compliance, and regulatory adherence across all sites.
  • Collaborate with engineering, network, and hardware teams to support capacity.

The Role

As the Data Center GM will lead data center operations across our Midwest region, starting with our Missouri site and expanding to additional locations over time.

This is a senior leadership role with full ownership ofoperations, performance, and team build-outacross multiple sites. You will act as theprimary interface between Nebius and external partners, while ensuring our data centers operate reliably, efficiently, and at scale.

This role is closest in scope to aRegional Operations Director in a hyperscale environment, combining hands-on operational leadership with regional ownership.

Requirements
  • 10+ years of experience indata center or mission-critical operations

Pay Transparency

We offer competitive compensation and benefits packages. Actual compensation will be determined based on job-related factors, including experience, skills, qualifications, the level at which the candidate is hired, and geographic location, consistent with applicable law.

Base Compensation Range

$200,000—$250,000 USD
