Eaton Corporation is looking for a Technical Program Manager in the Town of Caledonia, Wisconsin, to lead new product development within the Power System Division. This role involves guiding the development of software and embedded systems using best practices and ensuring product requirements are met through collaboration with cross-functional teams.
Qualified candidates will have a Bachelor's degree along with a minimum of five years of experience in embedded systems. Strong knowledge of Agile methodologies and communication skills are essential, as well as a familiarity with SDLC tools.
The Technical Program Manager will be a key member of the Power System Divisions Controls and Relays Group, leading new product development of software, embedded software, and electronic control projects by leveraging industry standard best practices and software development playbook.
Lead activities related to new product development including planning, estimating, designing, peer review, integration, and release using software development best practices.
Partner with product owners and the development team to ensure all requirements and specifications of embedded software subsystems are defined.
Collaborate to strategically investigate, leverage, and deploy industry standard techniques to stage new product development and improve quality, efficiency, and collaboration.
Lead, develop, and manage scope and project schedules.
Participate in system interface design activities and conduct design reviews with stakeholders.
Communicate plans, estimates, risks, and status on product development to leadership.
Collaborate with external and internal customers throughout the product development life cycle.
Investigate gaps in project execution processes and contribute to continuous improvements and road‑mapping activities.
Facilitate productivity by removing impediments and mediating conflicts to help teams make decisions and adhere to continuous improvement principles.
Facilitate and monitor the Scrum process from initiation through delivery, coordinating and encouraging participation from all team members in scrum ceremonies.
