Job summary

Talent Groups in Phoenix, AZ is seeking an experienced Program Manager to lead Marketing Technology initiatives across customer communications, personalization, paid media, and data platforms. This onsite contract role starts ASAP through January 2027 with possible extensions, and requires coordinating multiple Agile teams.

You will drive governance, risk tracking, sprint and program planning, and executive-ready reporting in Jira/Confluence, partnering with engineering, analytics, and marketing

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of Program Management or Project Management experience within technology organizations.
  • Proven experience managing complex, cross-functional programs involving multiple teams and stakeholder groups.
  • Strong knowledge of Agile delivery methodologies.
  • Experience working in Agile and/or SAFe environments.
  • Proficiency with Jira and Confluence.
  • Strong executive communication and PowerPoint presentation skills.
  • Demonstrated experience managing risks, issues, dependencies, milestones, and program governance.
  • Experience partnering with technical teams, including engineering, data, architecture, or analytics organizations.
  • Experience supporting Marketing Technology (MarTech) initiatives.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the planning, coordination, and execution of Marketing Technology programs across multiple teams and workstreams.
  • Facilitate cross-functional collaboration among Customer Data, AI/ML, Customer Care, Campaigns & Communications, and Data Engineering teams.
  • Identify, track, and manage program risks, issues, dependencies, milestones, and deliverables.
  • Provide leadership with visibility into program health, delivery timelines, risks, and key decisions.
  • Coordinate sprint-level and program-level planning activities.
  • Support roadmap development, prioritization, and ongoing program governance.
  • Facilitate status meetings, sprint readouts, program reviews, and stakeholder communications.
  • Maintain project artifacts, documentation, and reporting within Jira and Confluence.
  • Develop executive-ready presentations, dashboards, and status updates.
  • Drive alignment across technical and business teams to support successful delivery of strategic initiatives.

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Program Manager to support strategic Marketing Technology initiatives across customer communications, personalization, paid media, customer data, and emerging AI-driven capabilities.

This individual will serve as a key facilitator across multiple Agile teams, ensuring effective coordination, visibility, and execution of complex technical programs. The ideal candidate will have a strong program management background, experience supporting Marketing Technology initiatives, and the ability to communicate effectively with both technical teams and senior leadership.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the planning, coordination, and execution of Marketing Technology programs across multiple teams and workstreams.

  • Understanding of APIs and system integrations.
  • Exposure to AI/ML programs or emerging AI initiatives.
  • Experience supporting personalization, customer engagement, customer data, or digital marketing platforms.
  • Familiarity with SEO initiatives and digital acquisition programs.
  • Retail or eCommerce industry experience.
